Hello! I'm Kim Sauvé (she/her)
I'm a Lecturer in Computer Science at the University of the West of England (UWE) Bristol, specializing in Human-Data Interaction (HDI) and Data Physicalization. My research integrates Visualization, Physical Computing, and Interaction Design to create interactive systems that make data more accessible and experiential. I specialize in Research Through Design, applying design practice and developing interactive research prototypes to generate novel insights for human-data interaction. My overarching research goal is to design tangible data experiences that seamlessly integrate into people’s daily lives. These experiences aim to transform raw data into meaningful information, fostering reflection, facilitating discussion, and informing decision-making processes.
